ABOUT THE FOUNDER
“Hi there! Welcome to Finnart!
I founded this studio as a way of creating a difference in the visual arts educational community in Singapore. I have noticed a gap in educational competencies in the visual arts field, as far too often students & teachers are made to feel as if an artistic product takes precedent over the artistic process. This leads to an environment where student capabilities are not fully realized, as their understanding, ability to recall, & enjoyment of the arts have not been fulfilled at the appropriate level. Hence, this is how Finnart came to fruition!
Whether you be a novice to the arts scene, as young as a bud of spring, or a veteran artist yourself, it is my mission to make you feel like you belong in this community. So come join me as we develop your skills, & unravel your creativity to its fullest potential! Not to mention, have a grand old time experiencing the journey together!” - Laura Vuorio, 2023
