ART FOR SPECIALIZATION
Each month, Finnart organizes a wide range of both regular & individualized visual arts programs for our Kevään Nuput, Kesän Kukat, Syksyn Kävyt, & Talven Marjat regular program students. We offer three contrasting routes towards visual arts making; one made for growth, one made for leisure, & one made for specialization.
The variation of our available programs for ‘Art For Specialization’ varies by medium, & is based on three traditional mediums most often used in fine art. This provides our students with a fuller understanding of their chosen medium, & allows them to progress towards medium combination after the program has been completed. Whether the medium chosen be dry or wet, we guarantee that our students will develop themselves into confident, knowledgeable, & finessed individuals at the programs end!
WHAT IS ART FOR SPECIALIZATION?
In the ‘Art For Specialization’ program, we give our students the opportunity to be introduced & become proficient in a traditional medium of their choice. The program is taught by following along a structured lesson plan, which includes learning how to paint or draw various subject matters, whilst using various art medium techniques & styles. The mediums available for specialization are; 1. Acrylic Painting, 2. Watercolor Painting, & 3. Basic Drawing. Students will also complete various technical activities during their program, which ensure a fuller understanding from our students as they apply these activities to their artwork. This also ensures that our students are able to expand their cognitive & psychomotor abilities. Not only that, our programs & teaching methods are tailored to nurture each students strengths, weaknesses, likes, & dislikes. This ensures a more rewarding, fun, & innovative learning experience for both our students & teachers!
